dc.description.abstractItaly and Europe entered the pandemic by Covid 19 with a demographic situation which in perspective could undermine economic development, due to the shrinking of the labour force and possible labour shortages in key sectors, including health and education systems, ICTs, advanced manufacturing and long term care. Looking forward to the recovery, it is of utmost importance to identify the economic sectors most likely to feed the dynamics of demand, also thanks to a massive use of digital technologies, among which, in addition to those previously mentioned, pharmaceuticals, optical and medical industries, technology for environmental sustainability, transportation, retail and logistics.it_IT
