Abstract:	Book chapter. The research on “La domanda di formazione dei giovani in diritto-dovere all’istruzione e alla formazione” (Training Demand of Young People with a Right/Duty to Education and Training), which ISFOL conducted in 2006 in conjunction with the IARD Institute, aims to shed light on the real training needs of young people, as well as on their wishes and expectations. The research takes as a starting point an assessment of the information students and their families have about the current educational system and, in particular, the pathway dedicated to vocational training. 2008
